Access roads
Erosaweb
GW vastly improves the bearing capacity of
standard fill material. A 200 mm deep Erosaweb
GW will provide approximately the equivalent
foundation strength of 400 mm of crushed stone. This
can be a huge saving in excavation and placement
cost. Typical applications are access roads,
railways, block paved loading bays, etc.
Erosaweb GW is also proven as a
reinforced grass surface for fire access roads.
Revetments
Erosaweb
GW forms a flexible revetment structure for
the lining of ditches and water channels. The web
may be filled with concrete of crushed stone. The
web is also also available with holes for Tendon
ropes.
Retaining structures
Earth retaining
structures are made with horizontal layers of
Erosaweb GW placed and filled one on
another. A pleasant floral feature can be created by
planting in the front face pockets. This is an ideal
low cost system for the construction of noise bunds,
cut and fill sites, etc.
